Smoking Ban

Students from our photojournalism classes were sent out to take photographs that would be used to support a recent story in Penn State's Daily Collegian on a local ordinance that has been drafted that would create a smoke-free State College. The only stipulation for the photographers was that they could photograph anyone actually smoking. This image by Jenny Santiago shows a large planter along College Avenue now being usd as a giant ashtray.
