Penn State Football Media Day

Saturday was media day for the Penn State football team. Coach Joe Paterno was in a very good mood and painted an upbeat picture for the upcoming season. This is Joe during the press conference at Beaver Stadium.

Great Weekend

All of our kids and grandchildren were home for the weekend. James and his significant other, Ellen, travelled from St. Louis, Stevie, Christy, her husband Dan, and our grandchildren arrived from Virginia, and Jay lives in State College for now. Jay (the youngest of the four) enlisted in the Marine Corps last week and will ship to the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot in sunny Parris Island, South Carolina, November 7.
