Penn State football coach Joe Paterno had to think "inside the box" during the 2007 Outback Bowl game between Penn State and Tennessee in Tampa, Florida. Paterno was unable to man the sidelines as a result of a leg injury earlier in the season.

2d Marine Aircraft Wing Marines

The Outback Bowl featured Marine Corps AV-8B II Harrier jets in a fly-over of the stadium prior to the Penn State/Tennessee football game. The Marines from Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC, Quantico, VA, and Special Operations Command in Tampa, were on hand for the game. It was like old home week for me.
