Chores Come First


Only in State College can one go to a baseball game and watch a milking contest before the game begins. This was the case at the Spikes baseball game Tuesday evening in State College. Two cows were brought onto the field and a contest between the two baseball teams, their respective coaches and the Pa. Secretary of Agriculture was held during pre-game activities.

Bringing In The Cows


Tuesday's State College Spikes baseball game didn't start until the milking was done. Pre-game activities included a milking competition involving the both baseball teams, the respective coaches, and Pennsylvania's Secretary of Agriculture, and of course, the guy holding a large bucket in case the cow takes a ... you know. Only in State College can we milk before we play.
