2d Battalion, 6th Marines Return From Iraq

The Marines of 2dBn, 6th Marines, 2d Marine Division, Camp Lejueune, NC, returned from a tour in Anbar Province in Iraq this week. My son was one of those Marines, and we travelled to Camp Lejeune this week to meet him. As one drives toward the main gate of the base, there is a fenceline that encloses enlisted housing for married Marines and sailors based at Lejeune. This is a sample of the banners which stretched for blocks of fenceline greeting their loved ones upon their return.
