Reflections

Students Visit Pentagon

Penn State freshmen Karissa Shatzer and Thomas Rossi stand behind the podium in the Defense Department briefing studio Tuesday during their visit to the Pentagon. The students are enrolled in a First Year Seminar at Penn State on the subject of embedding reporters with U.S. military units during war time. The had the opportunity to speak to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs on the subject as well as other Defense Department personnel.
